Our Founder

Erica McClintock

Grew up on the Internet in rural South Carolina.

From childhood, my windows to the real world were a Seventeen Magazine subscription and an 18" Zenith television that rarely left MTV. UNO tournaments and playing in the woods were things of the past once I discovered MySpace and PerezHilton.com.

I dreamed that college would be my opportunity to break free from my country roots and live the life I saw in magazines. To my surprise, my big break was realizing that The Bible could be more than a Mountain Dew coaster. I gave God's Word the opportunity to teach me and faith began to shape my life. Since then, I've been traveling the world, making friends of all backgrounds and learning valuable lessons along the way.

Here lies my keepsakes.

My life's journey has been tumultuous and curvy. Through it all, I've drawn inspiration from the way Jesus chose to live: immersed in unexpected relationships, connected through his daily activities, motivated by love, and acquainted with sorrow.

Thank you for stopping by. <3

I've known how to build websites since I was 11 or 12. I built this entire website from scratch. Also, A1 golf swing.

What’s the story behind For Happiness and Sorrows? What made you pursue this?

The short reason is I wanted to share the lessons I’ve learned from the most important relationships in my life.
